Ilan Barkay, was born in Jerusalem and now residing in the green Jerusalem Corridor, qualified as a licensed Israeli Tour Guide and then a licensed Treavel Expert with the Israel Ministry of Tourism.

He has studied numerous courses on Christianity, Archeology, History as well as specific courses about ancient and new sites in Israel and has been guiding individuals, families, government officials, celebrities and business guests on tours of Israel for twenty years.

"My expertise is with different kinds of groups and in various kind of trips: Bible trips, historic trips, ethnic trips, for instance.I see my work as a tour guide in Israel as a "mission"- to transfer the historic wealth of the Bible and I hope to connect tourists through that vision, to sites and landscape and share with my love for the Holy Land!

Over the years I have guided many tourists, always matching each tour to their age, background,character, mood and desires with the necessary flexibility!"

In 2004, Ilan was awarded the "Best Tour Guide in Israel" award by the Israel Ministry of Tourism (see the award in Hebrew on the right)-> and almost at the the same time, in July 2004, he was called upon to guide the famous American actor, Chris Noth, star of "Law and Order".
